A selected belt is a region within that country. The camera stays on the country. Bordeaux, Burgundy, Piedmont, Champagne, Alsace, Beaujolais, Rhône, Loire, Tuscany, Veneto, Sicily, Mendoza, Mosel, Douro, Rioja, Jerez, Sonoma, Napa Valley, Niagara, Willamette Valley, and Tasmania have a closer map — tap the selected name again. That closer map is not a zoom of the world grid. Top wineries: tap a house or its place for a snapshot. Tap again to return to the belt. A key marks a house with an updated snapshot. A few houses appear only when their village is selected on a closer map.
Color
Continents, Countries, Old/New, and Grapes recolor the bricks. Darker bricks are not greater production. Search finds countries, appellations, grapes (including aliases and names not on this atlas), and styles. An exact or unique region name opens that belt’s snapshot. Grapes mode lists every mapped variety A–Z in the rail. Selecting or searching a grape lights where it is mapped. A grape not listed on any belt still opens a grape snapshot.
